The French forward was shown a red card inside the first 40 minutes of the weekend's clash in La Liga for his high challenge on Antonio Blanco.

It was thought Mbappe would be handed a lengthy suspension, dealing a significant blow to the Spanish giants in their bid to retain the league title, but the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) Disciplinary Committee has issued a one-match suspension. That means he will be available for their Copa del Rey final clash with Barcelona on April 26.
